Bonnie is a CTC who proudly graduated from the Academy for Dog Trainers in 2017 and is the owner and lead trainer at Ocean Park Dog Training, a certified, award-winning puppy and dog training school near Vancouver, BC CANADA. As a BCSPCA AnimalKind accredited business, we adhere to modern, evidence-based standards of training to foster a positive relationship between you and your dog.

Bonnie oversees the training and curriculum with her experienced and qualified staff. We offer classes and private training for a variety of goals and life stages. Our popular K9 Nose Work classes provide enriching scent games for dogs. Meeting in our comfortable indoor training centre, nearby parks, in people’s homes where appropriate, or virtually, we work with dogs of all kinds including anxious, fearful and reactive dogs.

At Ocean Park Dog Training, we understand that dogs do what works for them. Success comes from setting dogs up well, rewarding behaviours we like and ignoring or training an alternate behaviour for the ones we don’t like. Using current best training practices for animal and human learning, we maintain a positive environment where everybody is safe, supported & encouraged.
