Most of my instruction is online or at the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I provide dog training and behaviour modification related to house-training, handling sensitivity, leash manners, mouthing, stranger and dog directed aggression and possessive behaviour. I also provide post-adoption support for dogs adopted from the OHS with behaviour concerns.

I am a certified behaviour consultant (CBCC-KA) and hold a certificate in training and counselling from the Academy for Dog Trainers. In 2015, I was the Academy’s scholarship award recipient, which is given to trainers who improve the lives of shelter dogs through force-free behaviour modification. I am an advocate for better veterinary visits and hold the Fear Free Elite and Fear Free Trainer certifications. Since 2018 I have been an instructor in Algonquin College’s veterinary programs, teaching ethology.
