I’m Maureen Fitzpatrick, Certified Trainer and Counselor, here at Seven Cedars. I graduated with honors from the esteemed Academy for Dog Trainers and have also completed Michael Shikashio’s Master Course in Dog Aggression. My particular interests are in dog-dog socialization, puppies, teaching fun classes, and sharing my passion for dog adventures and enrichment.

I use training methods based on scientific principles of operant and classical conditioning. The goal is to communicate to dogs in clear and consistent ways, rewarding them when they “get it right”. Furthermore, dogs, like humans, have species-specific needs and when those are met, we are much more likely to enjoy a harmonious and rich life with our dogs.

Seven Cedars Dog Training is located on 3.3 beautiful, fenced acres on Whidbey Island where my husband and I live and work.
