Choosing a Dog Trainer from The Doodle Pro

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Corinne Gearhart, who is the oracle for all things Doodle, on her Doodle Pro podcast.  The tide has been shifting about Doodles.  Trainers used to be more wary about the energy level, and the purebred dog world looked down on hybrids.  Now, trainers have come around.  Doodles are fun to train and, provided their exercise and enrichment needs are met, can be terrific companions.  And with greater focus on the eye-poppingly narrow gene pools of purebred dogs and accompanying health issues, there is a much better attitude about breed outcrossing.

This blog post from Corinne has a link to the podcast episode as well as a ton of tips for selecting a dog trainer.  Thanks to her, Doodles are being subjected less to unneeded and harmful aversives.
